The studio-apartment occupies the top two floors of the first glass residential building in architectural history, designed between 1931 and 1934 by Le Corbusier and his cousin Pierre Jeanneret on the border between Paris and Boulogne. A light-filled living and creative space, this 240m² duplex apartment was the home and painting studio of Le Corbusier and his wife Yvonne Gallis.
Accessibility
The apartment is located on the 7th floor of the building and is accessible only by stairs. To access the apartment, please ring the bell marked ‘Fondation Le Corbusier’ to enter.
Only people with reduced mobility, elderly people or those accompanied by young children are allowed to use the lift (which stops on the 6th floor). We apologise for any inconvenience caused, which is beyond our control.
The studio apartment is not wheelchair accessible and does not have a lift. A free virtual tour is available online here.
In accordance with the Vigipirate security plan, we do not accept suitcases or large bags.
Animals are not allowed, except for assistance animals.
